Instructions

The 2013 Application to The Next 36 is divided into 2 stages. The first stage will ask you some basic demographic information, as well as some short answer questions. Once you have submitted this stage, the submission is final and you cannot review.

You can not save this stage so when you begin working on it, you should plan on finishing it. The applications to this stage will be evaluated on a rolling basis and applicants who pass this stage will be emailed a link to stage 2 of the application. The email will be sent to the email you used in stage 1 of this application, so ensure you check it often. 

The Early Application deadline to have all stages of the application complete is September 18th 2012 at 11:59pm. Some applicants from this pool will be offered an early spot to Selection Weekend. If you are not selected at this point, your application will be re evaluated at the final application deadline. 

The Final Application deadline has passed (October 22nd 2012 at 11:59pm).

The Next 36 is being studied by the Mobile Innovation Group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, our research partner. We will be sending all applications (excluding transcripts and references) and information related to the ventures collected over the course of the 2013 program to our research partner for the sole purpose of research. Every effort will be taken to protect the privacy of individuals through a confidentiality agreement between The Next 36 and the research team. Data will be published in aggregate form and no individual will be mentioned or referred to by name or inference. All personal information will be destroyed once the research is complete.
